Feels
like home
It all began with a plan that never got cancelled.
It all began in 2001, inside a simple hostel room in Vallabh Vidyanagar.
What seemed like just another shared space turned into something far more meaningful, a place that built lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and a dream. A dream to recreate that same sense of comfort, belonging, and ease for others living away from home.
Years passed, life moved on, and responsibilities grew, but that dream never faded. The bond remained strong, and so did the idea of building something meaningful out of it.
As D&C Hospitality began establishing itself in the real estate space, the opportunity became clearer. Inspired by the idea of creating value in untapped spaces, the team recognized a gap, affordable yet well-managed living for students and working professionals was missing.
What started as a shared thought soon turned into action. By 2017, the groundwork began. Locations were explored; ideas were shaped, and FLH—Feels Like Home—started taking form as a brand designed to bring structure, comfort, and consistency into everyday living.
In its early days, FLH focused on creating safe, comfortable, and dependable spaces for students, places where routines felt stable, and life felt a little more sorted. But what truly defined the experience was not just the space, but the way it was managed.
Cleanliness that didn’t fluctuate. Services that didn’t require follow-ups. An environment that simply worked.
Today, FLH has grown into a professionally managed living ecosystem, serving students, working professionals, and short-stay residents, each with different needs, but the same expectation of reliability and ease.
And this journey is still unfolding. As living needs evolve, FLH is expanding into new formats and experiences, building towards a larger vision of managed living; while staying rooted in the same belief it started with:
When a place feels like home, living becomes effortless.
To create thoughtfully managed living spaces that deliver comfort, consistency, and a sense of belonging; no matter how long the stay.
To evolve into a multi-segment living brand that redefines modern accommodation through structure, service, and scalable hospitality-led experiences.
