IT ALL BEGAN IN 2001 WITHIN THE WALLS OF A COMFY HOSTEL ROOM IN VALLABH VIDYANAGAR.

There was something special about that hostel room. Not only did it make these 9 best friends for life, but it was also the beginning of a dream. A dream to share their amazing hostel experience, with every student and working professional in the country. That special dream is Feels Like Home (FLH).

Over the past decade, life and responsibilities caught up with them, but two things did not change– their bond and that dream. D&C Hospitality established by Deval was now flourishing in the real estate sector, and looking to expand to brighter horizons.

TAKING INSPIRATION FROM THE ‘BLUE OCEAN STRATEGY’, AFFORDABLE AND MODERN STUDENT AND PROFESSIONAL LIVING SPACES WAS AN UNTAPPED MARKET, WHICH ATTRACTED THE ATTENTION OF THE GANG INSTANTLY.

The dream was now nearing fruition. It was now time to turn that dream into reality. Fast forward to 2017, the gang was already looking up prospective locations and projects to create hostel spaces like the city of Ahmedabad had never seen before. Not only was this experience an effort to do the greater good, but also an incredible way to relive their hostel life through the future generation.

CLEAN AND COMFY SPACES

Unlike the ordinary, the gang had clean and comfy spaces to live back in 2001 in their hostel accommodation. But as months and years passed by, they realised they were lucky to have such an accommodation. Other experiences were always filled with mentions of unhygienic and unsanitary hostel spaces. We are here to change that.

Bland and basic are few of the kinder terms doing the rounds, when it comes to describing hostel food. Believe us, we’ve heard a lot worse. Good hostel food is so rare that it’s actually turned into a myth when it comes to pop culture. We want to turn that myth into reality.
