Rules and Regulations
Admission Rules:
- There is a lock-in period of minimum 1 year (365days) for registering admission in the Hostel.
- The admission seeker has to pay one year rent and 1 Security deposit in advance at the time of registration.
- The company reserves the right to make additional changes in the Rent and Security amount.
- The Hostel resident shall be required to give prior 1-month notice period for vacating the room.
- In case the resident Vacating the room before Lock in period FLH reserves the right to forfeit the entire amount.
- The Refund will be processed within 15 working days after returning the Hostel room keys and completing the necessary exit formalities.
- If the Hostel resident is on leave for a longer period of time he has to pay the routine rent and electricity bill.
- If the Resident is a Working Professional, then he has to provide Identity Proof/Appointment Letter or any other verification document from the company at the time of registration.
- Visitors are not allowed to enter the rooms. And must be entertained in the lobby only.
- Visiting hours are from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM and visit duration is limited.
Payments:
- All the Hostel residents will have to pay the Electricity bill based on the meter reading before 15th of every month. Otherwise 10% penalty per day would be levied.
Damage and Loss:
- Vandalism is a serious offence, that includes all acts of destruction, damage and defacement of Hostel assets/property owned or operated by FLH.
- If any damage or loss occurs on and after 7 days period to the assets like Door locks, Sleeping beds, Chairs, Tables, Cupboards, Jet sprays, Flush buttons, Shower heads etc. Then the resident will have to bear the repair cost.
- The Hostel residents found committing such an offence shall be required to pay all the costs, otherwise the amount would be deducted from the Security deposit.
- The Hostel residents are responsible for the upkeep of their rooms, washrooms, and common areas.
Laundry:
- The Laundry vendor will collect and drop the clothes thrice a week only. The collection and drop frequency may change if any need or necessity arise.The following items should not be given in general Laundry service as they can get damaged or spoiled:
- Expensive branded clothing’s, Woolens, Jackets, Leather items and Embroidered clothing’s. Items strictly meant for dry cleaning.
- As per industry standards, 100% stain removal is not possible for certain types of stains. E.g. if there is an Oil / Ink / Food stain on clothing, it will get reduced by up to 30% depending on the type of stain.
- In case of loss or damage of the clothes the compensation amount would be decided by the Hostel management only.
- Hostel residents will be responsible for their respective Laundry. The Laundry must be picked up on the same day of delivery within 3 hours’ time.
- FLH will not be responsible for any discrepancy, loss, theft or misplacement of clothing’s.
- If any issue regarding missing or damage to the clothing’s occurs, the residents should immediately report to the management after picking up the Laundry.
Food
- The students shall be provided with fresh and hygienic meals as a part of their stay at FLH.
- The students shall have to consume meals only in the designated dining area. No crockery, cutlery, food parcel or food shall be carried to the rooms, for hygiene reasons.
- Students will be allowed to have their food in their rooms in case of exceptions, i.e. Sickness, Reduced movement due to any physical injury, etc.
Parking:
- Hostel residents must park their 2 wheelers in the basement area provided to them in the Hostel at their own risk.
Emergency:
- In case of any emergency or health issues, please contact the FLH Manager at the property. In case of emergency or crisis the Hostel resident must follow the guidelines of the FLH Manager.
General:
- Gatherings / Loitering / Smoking / Standing in groups / Walking around in front of Hostel and neighborhood are strictly prohibited at FLH.
- Keep your valuables in lock and key. FLH management will not be liable for any loss / theft or damage to the resident’s belongings.
- FLH will not be liable for any Packages / Parcels received at Hostel desk. Hostel residents are requested to coordinate with the package delivery person and collect their parcels as soon as they reach the Hostel.
- Hostel residents should avoid stocking up the refrigerator unnecessarily.
- Drugs and Alcohols are strictly not allowed inside the premises. The sale, purchase and storing of Drugs / Alcohol is a criminal offence in the state of Gujarat and liable for penal action by the State Administration.
- Smoking inside and outside the premises is strictly prohibited.
- The infraction will invite Disciplinary action / Suspension / Removal from the Hostel.
- FLH Representatives reserves the right to make spot checks on the hostel rooms without having to give prior notice to the Hostel residents.
- Electricians, Plumbers, Contractors, Service persons may enter rooms as and when necessary.
- The FLH Manger reserves the right to move Hostel residents to other rooms if there is a necessity or emergency. The FLH Management reserves the right to revise the Rules and Regulations from time to time.
